My own book entilted "Drum Tips" was recently picked up, and will be available sometime next year.
I am currently playing snare drum in "La Boheme" with the Opera Company of Philadelphia at the Academy of Music.
Next month I will be doing a drum set clinic at Philadelphia's Jazz Clef Club.
In December I will be playing timpani with the Jubilate Deo Orchestra.
On New Year's Day I will be perfoming at Lincoln Center in NYC.
In January I will be traveling to Mexico to play timpani with an orchestra whose program includes Dvorak's New Word Symphony and Lalo's Spanish Symphony.
In February I will be presenting methods to teach drummers and percussionists at the New Jersey Music Educators Association. Excerpts from my book "Drum Tips" will be discussed.
One of my students (who is 16 years old) played with James Brown at the Hollywood Bowl last year, and last summer won the John Coltrane Award. I am currently writing a drum set duet that we will be performing in April.
In March I will be performing "Carmina Burana" with the Pennsylvania Ballet.
In April I will be appearing at Philadelphia's Jazz Clef Club for perform a drum set duet that I wrote for my student and I.
In May I will be performing with Jazz legend Dave Brubeck in a piece he wrote entilted Gates of Justice.
In June I will be performing with Philadelphia's Center City Opera in the production "Dorian Gray".
In September I will be playing with the Opera Company of Philadephia in their production of "Rigoletto".
In October I will be performing with Orchestra 2001 in a piece by John Adams for 9/11.
In November I will be playing "Carmina Burana" with the Pennsylvania Ballet again for a week in New York City, and performing with the Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra.
In December I will be performing with the Jubilate Deo Orchestra, and in NYC (Lincoln Center) and Washington D.C. (Kennedy Center) in the Salute to Vienna New's Years Concerts.
In February I will be traveling to Puerto Rico to present a drum set clinic at the Inter Americana University. Excerpts from my book Drum Tips will be discussed and demonstrated.
I will also be playing with the Opera Company of Philadelphia in their production of "Cyrano".
In March my Jazz Trio will be playing at the Philadelphia Flower Show at the Convention Center.
